No After Sales Service
New toothbrush on/off button defective. Returned to service shop 2 months ago. Still without toothbrush and no one answers phone lines.

Bought and charged for the first time…
Bought and charged for the first time but the toothbrush was completely dead. Returned the brush for service, had to keep pestering as it took weeks. Finally replaced the brush. 3 weeks later the brush won't charge again. It never lasted on a full charge as it was supposed to anyway. After two or three days the brush needed charging again. Absolute waste of money and terrible customer service. I'm going to cut my loses, bin the brush and buy another brand. Shame as my last Oral B toothbrush was reliable and lasted year's.

Great brush - rubbish brush head holder!
The Oral-B Toothbrush, so far, is an improvement on previous models that we have used for many years. I have concerns, however, about the number of brushes that seem to have 'died' in a very short time. Oral-B (P&G) claims that the brushes are subject to rigorous quality control, if all the reviews on here about failures are true then the QC process needs looking at in detail!
My gripe about this product is the twin brush holder which has obviously been designed for looks rather than practicality. Previous models that came with a brush head holder stored them in a case which laid flat. The brush holder for the iO series stores them upright on two short rubber posts. The problem with this, which should have been obvious at the QA stage, is that when the case cover is taken off the brush heads fall out, either in the basin or worse still onto the floor. The posts on which the brush heads are stored need to be made a lot taller to stop this from happening, that or a horizontal case needs to be designed.

Like many others who have provided a review (and curiously no one from Oral B has even bothered to offer a response which sums it all up) I had an issue with the battery of my IO8. Contacted customer service via a link to include details of proof of purchase. They told me it was out of guarantee but did not bother to ask if I had resgistered the product which automatically extends the guarantee by a further year. Offered £50 towards the next purchase and then when registering the new product realised, which they could have accessed during the incessant and unproductive emails, that it was in fact under guarantee. The lack of coherent communication just exacerbates the lack of attention to detail as they did not even look at the form I completed online to get to an actual email complaint and now playing the blame game rather than accepting any responsibility for their poor service and inability to provide a rational and logical response when they are clearly in the wrong. A toothbrush costing £200 + should not have a battery that fails within 2 years and needs to be addressed as does their customer service and the lack of accountability in dealing with customer queries.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Having purchased an iO8 9 months ago for £160 I expected it to work for longer than this. I have experienced the same issue as many of the other customers have described. The toothbrush doesn’t hold charge and won’t complete a 2 minute cycle without draining and ceasing to work. On top of the fault the customer service department are beyond terrible and won’t replace without a service inspection lasting up to three weeks!!! This despite escalating to a next to useless manager. I won’t be buying another Oral-B product ever! And urge all other potential customers to keep your money in your pocket or invest in a PHILLIPS SONICARE instead!!

These people do not care about the customers but them money! Had to chase them for 3 months to get my refund ! Their cs service is useless! They pass you around from one place to another! Luckily inpaid by paypal and they refunded my money otherwise i waited for 3 months and they had no clu i just wish i had read their reviews before wasting my money !

This is a terrible product, do not buy
One star is more than I want to give . This is a terrible product. I have returned it 3 times and it still doesn’t work. They refuse to refund me. The worst thing is the damage it must be doing to my teeth as it never works when I need it to so my teeth go unbrushed half the time. I will be taking legal action for that damage.

Oral B io is a fantastic product but don’t expect it to work for too long, mine won’t charge anymore meaning the battery is goosed after 3 months, shame you can’t replace anything so it’s now good for the bin

Outstanding customer service provided by Nathan. I enquired if it was possible to replace the battery in my old Braun toothbrush. Nathan was unbelievably helpful, he followed up as he had said he would do.

Poor customer service avoid this brand
I bought a toothbrush on Amazon it last three months then broke.

The repairs department were difficult to contact, kept giving dates when the product would be repaired and sent back and not meeting the dates. No reason would be given for the delays and then a new due date would be given that they would not meet. It has been nearly 2 months to repair a toothbrush I still have not received back.

I requested a refund on serval occasions however this was either ignored or avoided.

The product itself when it works is great but the service is unbelievably poor. I would recommend going for an alternative when purchasing a high end toothbrush.

Terrible - AVOID
Terrible. Bought an IO8 in March for £160, now has stopped working. Rang customer service who will take the toothbrush back for repair and leave us without a toothbrush for over a week - how disgusting. Waiting for a customer service manager to ring me back. How can they leave a family of 4 with no toothbrush for over a week - a complete disgrace - AVOID

Oral B fail
After three months our £100 Oral B pro tooth brush stopped charging. We purchased a new one as didn't want to be without dental hygiene. Oral B refused to offer a refund would only repair which would take several weeks. Thankfully we purchased via Amazon who gave us an immediate refund on proof of free return postage that day!
Terrible customer service shoddy product sold at a premium price.
I will not buy from Orab B again.

Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. Ordered in Black Friday deal with free gift. They didn't send the free gift. When queried they said it hadn't been selected. Then failed to make things right by doing the simple, easy thing of just sending me the token, free gift! They could easily have resolved my issue instead they chose to lose a customer for life. DO NOT PURCHASE ORAL B PRODUCTS. A company that does not value its customers will not survive.

Where's the Warranty???
Not enough support after brushes breakdown! My child's Junior Toothbrush stopped working in the 2 Year Warranty period and I contacted customer service to get a replacement thinking it would be straightforward but they expect you to send the brush back for 2 weeks to be assessed first, it's a child's brush first of all and what are they expected to use during that time on top of all the grief and upset it will cause the child to have their brush taken away!

Make customers stupid. I didn’t receive any toothbrush head in my order. I messaged 3 times. I done live chat 2 times. If I spend 250 pound and then I wasted lots of my time and energy for this small problem. What I received answer for you. You send return label. That means you don’t have any trust in your customer. I made my biggest mistake to buy this product from official website. If I bought this item from Amazon I got very good response and any solution. Kind of your information I already send photos of missing head toothbrush. I regret to inform you oral-b never make mistakes the stupid customers make mistakes.
